The organisers of the Ibadan Travel & Tourism Expo (ITTE) have announced the rescheduling of the 2026 edition which was originally planned to hold in April 2026 at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

In a press release signed by the organisers, They said the decision to reschedule the expo for a new date followed extensive consultations with key local and international partners, stakeholders, and industry collaborators. Based on the consultations and the need to allow for broader international participation, as a growing number of partners, speakers, and institutions have expressed strong interest in participating in ITTE 2026, the expo was postponed. The additional time, the organisers said, will be utilized to deepen strategic collaborations, strengthen institutional engagements, and expand participation across both public and private sector stakeholders, thereby enhancing overall value for exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees. Furthermore, the rescheduling will enable improvements in event planning, logistics coordination, exhibition experience, and overall production quality, ensuring a seamless and world-class delivery of the Expo at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan.

A new date for ITTE 2026 will be announced soon. All partners, sponsors, and registered participants will be duly informed and appropriately accommodated, the organisers said.
