24th WTTC Global Summit: holds October 8-10 in Western Australia

The World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) will hold its 24th annual global summit in Perth (Boorloo), Western Australia from 8th – 10th October 2024. The WTTC Global Summit brings together public and private sector leaders from around the world to discuss the most pressing issues in Travel and Tourism and shape a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable future for the sector and the wider global economy.

According to the programme schedule released by the WTTC, the event starts with an opening press conference in Perth on October 8. Other programmes lined up for the summit include: global leaders dialogue, advisors circle meeting, and many others.

The host state, Western Australia, says it is committed to growing its visitor economy sustainably while placing its First Nations people at the centre of everything it does. It said: “Perth is admired not just for its economic contributions, stunning scenery, and biodiversity, but also for its strong ethos of fostering connections between cultures, communities, and the environment. It is a city that embodies the spirit of unity and an ideal place to bring together global leaders.”
