Tourism Leadership Award: Runsewe to host recipients, families in Abuja

In a letter of congratulations he personally signed and sent to Frank Meke, who won the Pioneer Tourism Journalism leadership award instituted by the Institute of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria ( ITPN) powered National Transportation Summit Awards, Otunba Segun Runsewe who is president, Africa region for World Craft Council, and also President, Nigeria Golf Federation, expressed his happiness at the special Pioneer Tourism Journalism leadership Award to Meke, describing it as more, than ” deserving “.
“You have laboured through the years, faced mountains of opposition within and without, a true conscience of the industry, and we can’t thank you enough for the risk you take to keep us on our feet” Runsewe who is the immediate past Director General of National Council for Arts and Culture ( NCAC) stated.
He praised the organisers of the award, led by Chief Abiodun Odunsanwo, for the courage and presence to nominate the four top prominent cultural tourism journalists, noting that the gesture truly justified the rating of the National Transportation Summit Awards as top flight diadem worth the industry’s support.
” I will support the award ceremony with a dedicated post award special dinner ceremony for you and your deserving colleagues in Abuja.
