Oba of African Village South Carolina murdered

Leader of Oyotunji African Village, Oba Adefuunmi 11, was stabbed to dead
allegedly by his sister. A woman,alleged to be his sister is being held by the police over the incidence.
According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO), Southrn Carolina, the stabbing happened in the Oyotunji African Village, located on Bryant Lane in Sheldon, around 2:45 p.m. on Monday.

BCSO says Oba Adefunmi II was located and transported by Beaufort County EMS to an area hospital. The 47-year-old died as a result of his injuries. A 53-year-old woman, Akiba Kasale Meredith, said to he sister of he late king. has she was walking to the scene of the incident.
Meredith faces a murder charge and is currently in custody at the Beaufort County Detention Center. The circumstances that led to this incident remain under investigation.
Adefunmi has been the Oba, or leader, of the African village since his father died in 2005.
