Tourism minister promises to work with private sector practitioners

The Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Lola Ade-John has promised to work with the private sector to build the tourism industry. She said a delegation of the Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN) paid her a courtesy visit. The delegation was led by FTAN president, Mr. Nkereuwem Onung.
Onung, on behalf of the federation, made a written presentation to the minister titled: Nigerian Tourism Renaissance: Collaborative Pathways to Excellence.
The tourism minister in her response said collaborating with the private sector will be a major focus in her effort to move the industry forward. Among those present at the meeting were NTDA Director General (DG), Mr. Folarin Coker and NIHOTOUR DG, Alhaji Nura Sanni Kangiwa.
