The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria ( FTAN), Lagos State chapter has congratulated the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwoolu on his reelection as governor of the state for another four-year term. In a congratulatory message sent by FTAN and signed by the state coordinator, Mrs. Ime Udo, the federation said Governor  Sanwoolu  has in the past four years,  thrown his weight behind the tourism and hospitality sector in the state, enabling a significant growth and development in the sector across board. And that  notable was the synergy between the stakeholders and the state government represented by the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Pharm Uzamat Akinbile- Yusuf.

According to FTAN, “The state through its ” themes” agenda has intentionally placed tourism as a major economic driver in the states GDP and this has been seen by actions, activities and projects which has been embarked upon from the promotion of leisure, cultural, Eco and business tourism to the development of infrastructure, polices and regulations that enable the growth and development of the Tourism sector. As a federation, we congratulate Mr. Governor on this milestone and achievement while we pray for another successful tenure in Good health,  peace, prosperity and stronger collaborations with the private sector.”
