Why we shifted NTT Summit to May, by organisers
Posted on: March 22, 2023, by : uguru okorieThe 6th edition of the National Tourism and Transportation Summit (NTTS) earlier billed for the International Conference Centre (ICC) Abuja from April 2 to 4, has been postponed by a month. It will now hold between May from May 7 to 9. The theme for this year’s conference still remains the same: ‘AfCTA: Exploring Intra-African Trade, Tourism and Transportation Opportunities and Mitigating the Barriers to Collaboration.’
Aare Abiodun Odusanwo, the chairman of the NTTS local organising committee said the committee decided to move the summit by a month to allow for the current process of electing new political office holders in Nigeria to be complement and also for things to settle down.
NTTS, a flagship event in the calendar of tourism and transportation sectors of the economy, has continued to stimulate industry stakeholders, to not only key into the value chain of the event’s content, but has created a platform for business meeting and sharing ideas. It has also become a platform to bring together all the different sub-sectors of the travel industry and in the process create better understanding among industry practitioners.
The sixth edition, which will feature different paper presentation and discussion session, and exhibition.
The summit is expected to host over 1,200 participants, engaging in conversations on pressing issues in the tourism and transportation business and proffering solution to boost future engagements.
